Hinah Mian

Hinah Mian is a Project Associate in the K&C team promoting monitoring, learning and evaluation activities with a focus on the Foundation’s evidence framework, ENJOY. She is also managing the Foundation’s catalytic funding initiatives for more evidenced-based education, including engagements with the Impact Linked Finance Fund for Education (ILFF) and the International Finance Facility for Education (IFFEd).
Hinah has supported the Foundation’s work on enabling evidence in edtech and schools through programs such as the School Action Learning Exchange (SALEX). Prior to joining the Foundation, she was a part of the Monitoring and Evaluation Team at UNICEF’s Education Cannot Wait hosted fund that published the Annual 2022 Results Report.
Her passion is about leveraging innovative financing and public-private partnerships to enable impact, especially education backed by the evidence of what works. Hinah has experience in designing and implementing educational programs as well.
She holds a Bachelor in Arts from Sophia University in Japan where she majored in Political Science and a Master in Development Studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute where she specialised in education and impact finance.
