As a sociologist, Raphaelle is enthusiastic about contributing to the empowerment of families so that they could evolve positively and sustainably in their environment and raise their children with hope for their future.

Raphaelle is currently Manager of the association a:primo for the French speaking part of Switzerland. The association a:primo is committed to the early childhood development and equity of opportunity. She coordinates the development, the adaptation and the promotion of two preventive programs for children between 1-6 years old and their family.

After graduating from the university of Lausanne, she worked as an adult educator, youth leader, project manager and school teacher for children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. Every professional experience proved her the fundamental importance of the cooperation with the parents to raise a generation ready to face the challenges of our societies.

As a Jacobs fellow, Raphaelle is looking forward to improving her knowledge of Early Childhood Education. She is also thrilled to share her experiences, reflections and learnings with a worldwide community.
