Andrea Vuilliomenet

Ecole Eden, Geneva

Andrea graduated from the University of the Americas, Mexico, with a B.A. in Bilingual Education and taught the Kindergarten class for almost 25 years at Eton School, a bilingual school in Mexico City. During this time, Andrea received intensive training in the Project Approach and gained first-hand expertise in this field. This allowed her to offer conferences and workshops at NAEYC and other institutions on the advantages this pedagogical tool can offer as well as the practical implementation in the classroom setting. In 2013 Andrea was awarded a scholarship by the Bowyer Foundation to pursue further training in the «Future of Learning» courses at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Now at Ecole Eden in Geneva, Andrea is in charge of coordinating the English section of the school as well as leading the teachers in the implementation of the Project Approach. A self-directed and enthusiastic educator with excellent work ethics, Andrea is committed to ensuring a positive learning environment, rich with meaningful learning experiences based on developmentally appropriate practices that enhance the teaching and learning process for all students.
