2025 Jacobs Foundation Conference

Advancing Research in Learning Variability through LEVANTE

In 2025, the Jacobs Foundation Conference will focus on LEVANTE (LEarning VAriability NeTwork Exchange) as part of our biannual scientific convening. This year’s conference will bring together leading researchers to share insights, methodologies, and emerging findings from cross-cultural data collection within the framework of LEVANTE. In addition, experts in learning variability will contribute to discussions, advancing the global evidence base for more inclusive educational practices.

The Jacobs Foundation Conference remains a selective, invitation-only event, providing a unique platform for interdisciplinary exchange. We continue to host the event at Marbach Castle, the Foundation’s Conference Center in Germany, ensuring an environment conducive to collaboration and innovation among senior, mid-career, and early-career researchers.

Young Scholars Program

The Young Scholars Program is a key feature of the 2025 conference, offering an exciting opportunity for early-career researchers, particularly those from LEARN and LEVANTE partner sites. This program allows selected young scholars to:

  • Submit proposals on topics related to the conference theme, which will be reviewed and discussed during the conference.
  • Receive feedback and mentorship from senior scholars, helping them refine their research and enhance their proposals.
  • Gain the opportunity to secure funding for their research over the next 18 months.

The program is designed to provide tangible support for young scholars, promoting the development of impactful research that aligns with the goals of both LEVANTE and LEARN.
