Strengthening Young Talents

True to its motto: a promise to youth, the Jacobs Foundation supports talented young scholars in order to build a network of future leaders. It is to this end that the Entrepreneurship Career Program at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley was initiated last year and continues with three new fellows.

This Entrepreneurship Career Program is part of the Jacobs Foundation talent network, which seeks to establish a network of the most talented people in child and youth development worldwide, a talent pool that extends our capacity to strive for change.

The Career Program in cooperation with the Haas School of Business offers specialized areas of emphasis in its MBA program in the topics of social impact, non-profit leadership, social innovation, development engineering and encourages students to take courses in specialized academic units to personalize their learning and foster career development. This year three new Jacobs Fellows will embark on the program for the duration of their studies from 2016 – 2018.

To engage in further dialogue and with different audiences on the topic of young talents, the Jacobs Foundation is represented at the “Best for the World Gathering”. This event connects current and future business leaders who seek a better way to do business. Held at the University of California, Berkeley, in partnership with the Haas School of Business and the Center for Responsible Business, it offers the chance for conscientious business leaders to gather, educate and celebrate the positive impact business can have in the world.
