Yasmine Bekkouche

Yasmine Bekkouche is a Global Program Manager on the Global Learning and Evidence team at the Jacobs Foundation. She is a development economist with a passion for education quality and gender equality in the Global South. She has a decade of experience as a researcher in development economics and impact evaluation, along with eight years as a project manager and research analyst in international organisations such as the World Bank, the European Union, the United Nations, and the Agence Française de Développement. In these roles, she has led technical and analytical initiatives to promote education and gender equality through project implementation and evaluation. She is dedicated to bridging research and policy, working closely with education stakeholders to strengthen this connection and drive impact.
Yasmine holds a PhD in Economics and an MA in Public Policies and Development Economics from the Paris School of Economics, as well as an MA in Data Science from ENSAE Paris-Tech. She was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for the Study of African Economies (University of Oxford) and at ECARES (Université Libre de Bruxelles).
