Yasmin Bucknor

Program Manager, Ghana

Yasmin Bucknor serves as Program Manager at the Jacobs Foundation, where she supports the Foundation’s investments in evidence-based education and partnerships in Ghana to strengthen education systems and improve learning outcomes.

Yasmin brings more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning education, philanthropy, strategy, and organizational management. Prior to joining the Foundation, she served as Chief Programs Officer at Rising Academies and, before that, as Chief Operating Officer at Ashesi University, where she led institutional operations. Earlier in her career, she worked in investment banking and corporate finance before transitioning to the education and social impact sector.

She holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Cornell University.
