Michael Müller

Michael Müller is the Chief Financial Officer at the Jacobs Foundation. In his role, Michael is both steward and strategist—protecting the organization’s assets while enabling the mission-driven growth of Jacobs Foundation.

Before joining the Jacobs Foundation, Michael was the Head of Operations in a Swiss group of philanthropic foundations and investment advisory. Earlier, he served as a CFO and Head of Finance in stock-listed firms in Switzerland and Asia. Throughout his career he assumed fiduciary responsibility and integrity, ensured compliance and led initiatives to maximize impact through strategic allocation of resources. He is passionate about building and leading functions and teams that serve as solid backbone for strong growth.

Michael holds a master diploma (lic.oec) in Business and Administration from the University of St. Gallen (HSG).
