Visual Content & Collection Specialist – Digital Museum of Learning

At the Digital Museum of Learning, Lyvia curates visual materials and develops international institutional partnerships. She ensures that educational content meets rigorous standards of academic quality and cultural sensitivity, supporting the Foundation’s commitment to evidence-based learning.

She also contributes to projects involving the Johann Jacobs Museum collection and serves as liaison with partner museums and cultural institutions, fostering collaborative initiatives that broaden the collection’s impact. Her interdisciplinary approach turns research into meaningful and engaging learning experiences.

Lyvia holds a PhD in History from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, with research experience at the University of Oxford and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. She also holds qualifications in Museum Studies (University of Freiburg) and competency-based didactics for multilingual contexts (PH Zurich). Before joining the Jacobs Foundation, she worked as an associate professor in Brazil and contributed to cultural and educational projects in Switzerland.
