Julian Mittmann is an Investment Manager at the Jacobs Foundation, where he supports the Foundation’s asset-management function and acts as a key link between strategy, governance, and execution.

Drawing on his experience advising ultra-high-net-worth Swiss and international clients, Julian brings deep multi-asset expertise with a strong focus on thematic and ESG-integrated investment approaches. Throughout his previous roles, he developed and executed discretionary and asset allocation strategies, translating market insights into robust, risk-aware portfolios that consistently delivered long-term value.

Before joining the Jacobs Foundation, Julian worked at Julius Bär as an Investment Specialist and at Vontobel as a Digital Client Advisor. He is a CFA and CAIA Charterholder and additionally holds certifications in ESG Investing and Private Markets & Alternatives. Julian earned a Master of Arts in Banking & Finance from the University of Zurich and a Master of Science in Finance & Risk Management from the London School of Business & Finance. His professional path reflects a strong commitment to continuous learning, high-impact investing and responsible stewardship of capital.
