Barbara Bitzi

Barbara Bitzi is a Program Manager Switzerland. In the Swiss team, she is responsible for cooperation with partners, supports the development of strategic goals and manages individual projects independently.

Prior to joining the Jacobs Foundation, Barbara gained experience in the fields of education, research and technology, including roles at an EdTech startup, the Department of Education of the Canton of St.Gallen as a project manager and research assistant, and as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Zurich. Her previous work includes developing a learning platform and research on unaccompanied minor asylum seekers.

Barbara holds a Master’s degree in Geography and a teaching diploma for secondary education, both from the University of Zurich.
