Anabel Altenburg

Anabel is working on the Learning Ventures team, which promotes the use of evidence in education through impact investing and grant-making. Previously Anabel was Head of Impact at EdTech company Pedago in New York City, where she led the implementation of their EdTech solutions in emerging markets and companywide impact measurement. Prior to this, Anabel consulted on education projects for the World Bank and Financial Times and taught high school English literature via Teach First in London. She holds a BSc from the London School of Economics and a Master’s in Education from Stanford University, with a focus on AI in Education. Anabel is passionate about leveraging innovative education solutions as agents for social change.
