Simi Lawoyin

Simi Lawoyin is a social entrepreneur, learning strategist, and innovator with a multidisciplinary background. Her career journey spans four continents and covers the gamut in the field of education — from teaching and developing strategic academic programs at universities in the US and China; to designing and implementing interventions to transform the K-12 and tertiary landscape in Nigeria; to partnering with leaders of Fortune 100 and 500 companies to roll out strategic talent development programs. Currently leading the People & Culture practice at Amplify Mission, Simi is passionate about creating solutions to help people and organizations thrive.

She is also the Co-Founder and Strategic Advisor at JASS Academy, a mission-driven talent accelerator currently focused on the African continent. Over the years, she has served as an advisor to several startups, most recently: AgUnity (bringing digital solutions to rural farmers and under-served communities), Training Ground (an app to help young athletes transition to life after school), and Life’s Six Buckets (focused on helping parents / caregivers facilitate social emotional learning for children).
