IFFEd (International Financing Facility for Education)

IFFEd strengthens global education financing by integrating evidence-based solutions to unlock billions in funding for effective interventions, improving outcomes for children worldwide.

The International Financing Facility for Education (IFFEd) aligns with the Jacobs Foundation’s mission to advance child development through evidence-based solutions. By strengthening the global evidence and finance architecture, IFFEd aims to direct billions in funding toward more effective educational interventions, improving outcomes for children worldwide.

Through our support of IFFEd, we foster the integration of evidence in decision-making within a leading global financing organization for education. IFFEd’s collaboration with Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) and its support for national projects ensure funding directly benefits children and youth.

IFFEd addresses critical gaps in education financing while offering substantial economic benefits. For every dollar invested in evidence-based interventions, there is a 20-fold return in lifetime earnings, highlighting the value of data-driven solutions.

By 2030, IFFEd aims to unlock up to $10 billion in funding. This approach integrates evidence into financing models, contributing to sustainable, equitable progress in global education.
