The Jacobs Foundation has awarded the 2013 Klaus J. Jacobs Research Prize and Best Practice Prize honoring outstanding achievements in research and practice in the field of child and youth development. 250 international guests of politics, science and business attended the awards ceremony on December 6, 2013, at the University of Zurich.
This year’s Research Prize, which is endowed with one million Swiss francs, was awarded to Professor Greg J. Duncan of the School of Education at the University of California, Irvine.
The Best Practice Prize, which includes an award of 200,000 francs, went to Germany’s ELTERN-AG organization.
