Julie Swaenen is a Strategic Program Manager at the Jacobs Foundation. She works across the Foundation, focusing on bringing education evidence into practice in collaboration with the various stakeholders of the education ecosystem, so that children around the world can thrive.
Julie believes in quality and equitable education as the cornerstone for improving lives of people around the world. She brings experience from both public and private industry through her work for the Public and Social Sector Hub at McKinsey & Company and her internships within diplomacy, consulting, and banking.
Julie holds a Master in Strategy and International Management from the University of St. Gallen as well as a Master and Bachelor in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp.
