Alexandra Gerber

Program Manager

Alexandra Gerber is a Program Manager at the Jacobs Foundation. Her responsibilities include coordinating engagement with various stakeholders, primarily researchers, and innovative education organizations. Her goal is to strengthen the evidence base for learning solutions and support the development of impactful learning programs that can drive positive change in education systems at scale.

Alexandra is passionate about evidence-based project development, social innovation and facilitating collaborative efforts to address learning equity. With an open and curious mindset, she brings expertise in stakeholder management, capacity building, and creative problem solving, and believes in empowerment and collaboration as key drivers of impactful and sustainable solutions.

Alexandra holds an MSc in Public and Nonprofit Management from ZHAW Management and Law in Switzerland and a BSc in Tourism Management from FHGR (Switzerland). She also holds a diploma in Food and Sustainability from the European Institute of Innovation and Sustainability (EIIS) in Rome. Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked for a vocational training project in Rwanda, as an international event manager and lived in various places including South Africa, Australia and Rwanda.
