Quadri Adetola Oguntade

Quadri is currently pursuing an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and Masters in Public Administration degree from Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Prior to Sloan, Quadri formerly worked as a Management and Technology consultant at Deloitte, where he helped Fortune 100 organizations innovate, transform and use data analytics to bring bold strategies to life.

Quadri was born in Nigeria and he is passionate about developing products that improves the lives of under resourced people across Africa. Previously, he co-founded a startup called Bright Future, which aims to improve the quality of education for students lacking access to electricity by providing an alternative source of light, starting with an integrated LED pen product. Quadri’s current startup, Duma aims to give small and medium scale enterprise easy access to quality product and financing by leveraging innovative technology.

As a Jacobs Fellow, Quadri is excited to collaborate with scholars and entrepreneurs to develop comprehensive solutions to end unemployment and poverty. He hopes to leverage his own education and collaborate with other Jacobs Foundation scholars to advance development and prosperity in Africa.
