Clint Bartlett

Yale University

Clint is the investment director of Transformational Business Network, an impact investor focused on East and Southern Africa, founded by a group of philanthropists driven by stewarding resources for future generations. Prior to joining TBN his career has comprised of acting as advisor or manager to a variety of non-profit and for-profit entities focused on development in Sub-Saharan Africa. These have covered the areas of low-cost private education, healthcare pertaining to HIV AIDS, secondary schooling and post-school training, supply chain economic inclusion and financial innovation relating to blended funding.

Clint holds an undergraduate degree in accounting and an honours degree in finance. In 2015 he completed his MBA at the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business where he focused on Sustainable Supply Chain Management in an emerging market context. Thereafter he completed a Masters in Advanced Management degree at Yale University with a focus on impact investing, global strategy and political economy.

Strongly interested in networks and unlocking social capital, Clint remains involved in Yale University through alumni associations and regular guest lecturing. He aims to bring this passion to the Jacobs network and is excited to become part of this growing and exciting community of committed researchers and practitioners.
