Diwura is the Executive Director at Technology for Social Change and Development Initiative (Tech4Dev) a non-profit that creates access to decent work and entrepreneurship opportunities and platforms for Africans through digital skills empowerment and advocacy. In this capacity, she oversees the organization’s strategy and operations and works to create opportunities for young Africans especially in underserved communities as well as bridge the digital knowledge divide between men and women through the Women Techsters initiative which has seen about 2,500 women trained in coding and deep tech skills across 12 underserved communities in Nigeria and is looking to train 5 million more women across Africa by 2030

Diwura has a Master of Advanced Management from Yale School of Management and an MBA from Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University. Before Yale, and as an MBA student, Diwura organized the largest and highest attended student-led Africa Business Conference at the Lagos Business School pulling in close to 1,000 business leaders and managers across Africa to discuss leveraging Africa’s Youth to build a sustainable continent. The conference produced a campaign called ‘the África We See’ which was aimed at changing the narrative of the African continent to communicate the immense resources on the continent especially human capital and how that is shaping the growth and development of the continent. She currently serves on the Executive Board of the Lagos Business School Alumni Association.

Diwura is thrilled to be joining the Jacobs Network and looks forward to connecting with and learning from other fellows, explore new ways to further the work done at Tech4Dev through advocacy for equal access to digital skills education and opportunities for every African.
