Sania Salman

Berkeley Haas

Sania is a creative professional with six years of strategy and design experience. She is currently pursuing her MBA at Berkeley Haas School of Business, specializing in Social Sector Leadership.

Throughout her consulting career, Sania has partnered with government agencies, Fortune 100 clients, as well as domestic and international philanthropies, NGOs, and non-profits to achieve impact. Most recently, Sania worked as an international development consultant with Dalberg Advisors. While at Dalberg, Sania supported leading foundations and government agencies, such as the Rockefeller Foundation, Lego Foundation, and the San Francisco Human Rights Commission, with strategy and strategic planning. She also helped launch the Justice, Equity, and Mobility practice to focus on issues of justice and equity in the United States. Prior to Dalberg, Sania worked as an innovation and design consultant with Idea Couture, using human-centered design and strategy to help clients launch new programs and achieve top-line growth. During her time there, Sania worked with Bloomberg Philanthropies to design and launch their 2017-18 Mayors’ Challenge. Before joining Idea Couture, Sania began her career at Deloitte Consulting where she worked in the federal and commercial practices. At Deloitte, she was selected for the D2i Fellowship where she partnered with international NGOs to help them strengthen and grow their organizations. She graduated with honors from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service with a BS in Science, Technology, and International Affairs.

Sania is looking forward to collaborating with the Jacobs Foundation’s diverse network of professionals. Her hope is to work with them to design and deliver novel solutions to intractable problems affecting the world’s most marginalized
