Ryan Welby

Oxford Saïd

Ryan is an MBA candidate at the University of Oxford-Saïd Business School. Upon completing his undergraduate studies in 2013, he started his career in international development in Togo, as a Peace Corps Volunteer. After spending nearly 5 years working in agriculture and education development, he returned to graduate school to pursue a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy at the Fletcher School at Tufts University.

In 2020, Ryan started his first venture, Farm Table Produce, to address food insecurity in the greater Philadelphia region of the United States. Farm Table helps low-income households access fresh local fruits and vegetables by allowing customers to determine the price that they pay, rather than charging a fixed price. Ryan has a keen interest in impact evaluation and hopes to use his studies at Oxford to scale social enterprises that look to address hunger and malnutrition within emerging economies.
