Jury

The Klaus J. Jacobs Research Prize, worth one million Swiss francs, honors scientific work with a high degree of social relevance for the personality development of children and young people. A further requirement is that scientific findings from interdisciplinary research should be put into practice. The Jacobs Foundation is aware that having such high requirements for the prize-winner also places high demands on the panel that has to choose him or her. For this reason, we have appointed a jury that is comprised exclusively of internationally recognized scientists. This expert jury each year elects the winner of the Research Prize after a multi-stage selection process.
